Explanations
Under Article 11 of the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“PDPL”), everyone has the right to apply to ART Gemi İnşa ve Tersanecilik Hizmetleri A.Ş. (“Company”) in relation to the following matters:
- To learn whether personal data is being processed,
- If personal data is being processed, to request information about it,
- To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom personal data has been transferred within the country or abroad,
- To request the correction of personal data if it is inaccurate or incomplete,
- In accordance with Article 7 of PDPL, to request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist, even though the data has been processed in compliance with PDPL and other relevant laws,
- To request that the correction of personal data (as per item e and f) be communicated to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
- To object to the processing of personal data that is processed solely through automated systems, if it leads to an unfavorable result for the individual,
- To request compensation for damages if personal data has been processed unlawfully and caused harm.
Processing of Personal Data Related to the Application
In order to verify the identity of the applicant and manage the application, personal data (name, surname, Turkish Identity Number, passport number, phone number, email, address, signature) will be processed in a limited and relevant manner. These personal data may be shared with relevant units/persons and authorized institutions only if necessary and according to the nature of the application request.
