PROPELLER BOSS CAP FINS (PBCF)

Propeller Boss Cap Fins System, PBCF in short, is an energysaving device attached to the propeller of a vessel, known with its environmental impact-reducing technology. The device breaks up the hub vortex generated behind the rotating propeller, which improves propulsive efficiency by recovering the energy loss. The innovation returns between a 3-5% reduction in fuel consumption, resulting in substantial cost-saving and the decrease of CO2 emissions per year.

RUDDER BULB INSTALLATION

A rudder bulb is a streamlined bulb, which is fixed at the leading edge of the rudder. It improves the water flow in front of the rudder and fills the vacuum behind the centre of the propeller. In addition, the rudder bulb reduces propeller induced cavitation, which will result in an extended lifetime of the rudder by less cavitation damage in propeller hub area.Calculations together with tank tests have shown that direct fuel savings up to 1,5% when a bulb is applied to a rudder, depending on the ship type and its steering behaviour.

BWTS INSTALLATION

Tersaneler Cd. No:42 Tuzla – İstanbul, or by sending an electronically signed request to the registered email address artgemiinsa@hs01.kep.tr. We reserve the right to reject the relevant application if there is an error in the information and documents submitted or if the application is unauthorized.

Response Time for Requests Related to the Processing of Personal Data

We evaluate and respond to your requests regarding personal data processing within a maximum of 30 days from the day your requests reach us. In case our response to your request is negative, we send the justified rejection reasons to the address you specified, electronically or by mail.
